TRISHULA, INDIA is the world’s largest manufacturer of edible and eco-friendly cutlery based in Vadodara, Gujarat. Established in the year 2017 by Mr. Kruvil Patel, Trishula India is now a fully automated mass producer of edible spoons and tableware that is spread across 3L sq. feet and housing manpower of 300 employees who work for the sole purpose of being India’s leading sustainable company and reducing single-use plastic pollution.

Trishula has created a niche for itself in the market by introducing an innovative concept in tableware that is a blend of multigrain flour, binding agents, natural Indian spices, and flavors. They are 100% natural with no added preservatives. It is a company that has a negative carbon footprint and is a zero-waste organization. With the company’s values of being sustainable, eco-friendly, and having ethical policies, Trishula – India has been successful in tapping into international markets of the European Nations, The United States of America, and the Gulf countries and thus, promoting ‘Make In India’ – an initiative started by the Honourable Prime Minister of India – Shri Narendra Modi.

The word ‘Trishula’ means the trident of Shiva, used to destroy demons. And in this day and age, the biggest demon that we are fighting is Plastic Pollution. And so, Kruvil Patel decided to name this sustainable venture – Trishula, an entrepreneurial pursuit to reduce single-use plastic waste by providing an eco-friendly and compostable alternative to plastic cutlery, thereby creating a sustainable planet for all.
